Having the right architectural drawing in hand is as good as getting the job completed at site.

Being a designer myself, I firmly believe that this is an important box to cross on one’s to-do-list before any construction activity or renovation begins. In my design practice, I ensure that the blueprints are well read and understood before the execution commences.

My scope of work keeps a check on structural, functional, technical and aesthetic aspects, not to forget the development regulations, which are mandatory for any building. To cut to the chase, it is the designer’s responsibility to think the layout through and address all aspects of the design so that the different stages of work flow seamlessly with each other, without any hiccups. These are often overlooked by the architects and builders at the conceptual stage, causing huge loss of TIME, MONEY and EFFORT during the later stages of construction, thus delaying the project completion.

Many projects suffer delay due to the lack of attention paid to the drawing details at their initial stage. Work is stalled at site for months due to the non-availability of the correct drawings and details. And before you know it, things are back to the drawing board and the budget going through the roof!

In my experience over the years, I have always emphasised on the importance of having a smooth workflow at site. This not only benefits the client but the entire team of contractors who are putting in valuable time and effort, which eventually translates into profits. Thus, apart from rendering architectural and interior design services, I also collaborate as a Design Coordinator with other architects and builders for their on-going projects. My role fills the gap between the architect and the builder, likewise, between the builder and the contractor at the site. Back at my studio, all drawings are looked into in detail, I study the planning principles, filter out the technical snags and structural constraints, vet the validity of building rules and regulations, offer solutions and propose required corrections in order to make the drawings good for construction and ready well before time.

Basically, I undo the wrong and do the right just to save you time, money and effort.

So, the next time you fear missing out on an electric point, or identifying a space for your washing machine, or ordering the wrong window size or experience dilemma over Vastu principles, you know exactly what to do. Reach out to me and I will have it all covered for you.

In short, I’ve got your back.
